As gas prices continue to rise, and with more people from the Bethesda area and beyond wanting to lessen their carbon footprint, electric vehicles have become increasingly popular. This model aims to offer a new generation of battery technology, new dynamic styling, and the latest technological features. For more information on this electric crossover, keep reading down below.
Performance
Coming standard in all Lyriq models is a 100-kW battery pack with rear-wheel drive. This power supply will allow Baltimore drivers to achieve 340 horsepower and get an estimated range of 312 miles. A dual-motor all-wheel-drive Lyriq version will be released later in 2023. and while Cadillac hasn't provided many specifics about this version, it's expected to deliver around 500 horsepower.
Technology
Being a new model, the Lyriq will feature Cadillac's latest technology and several new additions. For example, Silver Spring drivers will have access to the Super Cruise system, allowing for hands-free driving on the highway under certain conditions. There will also be an automated parking system that can be activated from outside the car.
One of the coolest features of the Lyriq is its 33.0-inch curved advanced LED display. Unlike other vehicles that offer two separate screens for the driver's gauge and infotainment system, the Lyriq has one large screen that serves as both.
Safety Features
When the Cadillac Lyriq is released later this year, residents from Alexandria, VA, can expect it to come with many driver-assistance features. These features include automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.
